What I Did....

Well, I spent my Memorial Day doing two things that I keep putting off and since Mechanic Man was working this was as good of time as any. Cleaning out the kid's drawers and cleaning out the refrigerator :( So this morning I got started on the kid's drawers, I went through first J#1's drawers to see what doesn't fit him anymore and what was worth passing down to J#2. Then I moved onto J#2's drawers to do the same. He was not happy, he did not like seeing some of his favorite shirts go into a box for J#3. He is the only one of my kids so far that ever cared about what he wears and he gets so attached to things very easily. He stood over my shoulder the whole time crying and whining. Then onto J#3's drawers. You know it wasn't so bad with one having to do this, but 3!!! This was a chore. Below is a pic. of the pile........Here is the pile that I had when I was done of all the clothes that J#2 has outgrown and they are still too big for J#3. Then I also have all, yes all of the baby clothes and things that J#3 has out grown, I haven't cleaned his drawers in awhile as you can tell. So I went through and sorted what would be packed away for J#3. I need to figure out what to do with all of the baby clothes--Should I keep them? Will we for sure have another?? I finally just divided them into sizes and taped up the boxes, right now I have them sitting in a corner while I figure it out.

Then Mechanic Man came home early since it was a light day due to the holiday and he wanted something to eat. He looked through the fridge then ended up pulling everything out because he didn't know what was O.K. to eat and what was not. Yes, I am confessing that there are some science experiments in my fridge. I have just a few hundred things going on everyday and the refrigerator is not one of them. So we cleaned the refrigerator together which made things go faster and now it is spark-ly and shiny. MM was nice enough to take out all the shelves and clean them all. Love starts in the kitchen I always tell him. I am loving my man lots today:)
