Birthdays, birthdays and more birthdays...

Friday was my dad's birthday we took him to lunch and the boys made him a card. Saturday evening we went to a birthday party for one of the playgroup kids. It was a lot of fun, the kids had a great time. We got in real late though and none of us was ready to get going this morning. Before I knew it it was past time to get up and we had no time to fix anything to eat so we got dressed and decided to pick up something from McD's and Mechanic Man wanted coffee from none other than Starbucks. We left just in time to maybe make both places and get to church on time. Then about 20 min. from home we figure out that I forgot J#3's pacifier, not good. It would waste too much time to go back home so I decide to pick one up at Walgreens. But now we have a problem with stopping 3 places and getting to church on time. So with the mom time management brain going I tell MM to drop me off at Walgreens and I will walk to Starbucks after that and get our coffee while he goes to McD's and pick up breakfasts. He was to meet me at Starbucks and pick me up. We managed to make it on time to church. After church we were to go to my aunt's because I had family come in for the weekend and we ate lunch with them and visited, then it was off for another friend's birthday party. Mechanic Man and J#3 were not up for it, I dropped them off for a late nap at home. I took J#1 and J#2 to the party at a pizza place and they had a great time. I felt like I was walking in my sleep, but you know that a mom has to do what a mom has to do sometimes :) We will all sleep well tonight.
