We Have a Screamer, People!!!
J#3 is exercising his lungs, at least that is what I am telling myself. He is screaming what seems like all the time. His vocabulary is limited and I am thinking that is possibly the reason for the vocal exercises, but nonetheless it is very hard on the ears and nerves. He screams when he wants to get my attention, when he is excited, when his brothers pester him, when he is mad. I am trying to be consistent with telling him no screaming and giving him a word to use instead. I so hope there is a break with this behavior. My other two J-Boys did not go through this, so it is a first for me. It becomes a hard thing whenever we are out in public. I get the strangest looks, probably from people that have no kids. I just give them the "what ??" look. I know this too shall pass, but I think it won't get there fast enough.

Hi, this is my first visit to your blog. You have a very cute family. I have 4 boys and all of their names start with Br. I get them messed up all the time. I guess that happens even when their names don't start with the same letter. My youngest is now 9 and oldest 18. The screaming will stop but I know it will seem like forever. I had a biter. I couldn't take him on play dates and his brothers had marks all over them. But it did pass and he is a great teenager now.
Hey girl, I thought it was a girl this to scream. My little one has been doing it for a while now and she can talk!! I am sure once J3 starts talking he will slow down the yelling.
