I have blogged a lot about my little J#3 helping me around the house, he loves doing things with me. Yesterday, I was looking for his bottle I couldn't find it anywhere. We had some where to go last night and I frantically went through the house and had the J#1 and J#2 help, but we could not find it. We only have the one bottle so he went without it and was not too happy about it. Then when we got home and I was trying to find it again before he went to bed, something in the back of my mind said to check the trash, he really likes throwing things away. And yes, there it was so I washed it real good and he sucked it right down. This morning I started thinking about it and decided I might want to check the trash, since he threw his bottle away he might have thrown something else important away. I started trash digging and found $1, the DVD remote, all of his animal magnets that were on the refrigerator and my address book.
I think as long as I keep the lid shut on the trash he can't get it open and we might be safe from having things thrown away. So much for teaching them to throw things away :)

I think your boys like to practice hiding treasure for you... it's a game the older two know quite well (pancake and large amounts of cash hidden in the depths of their room)...they are teaching him early!
how sweet is he?
