Going Green
O.K., you know that there is this big push out there now for "going green" save the earth yada yada. Anyways, I have been recycling and so forth, but today after church we stopped at Sprouts Market (heart the place) to pick up a few items and I saw they had the cloth bags to put your groceries in of course you have to purchase them for $.99 and I thought that it would be a good idea to use those for my groceries and I picked up a couple. Got out to the car and Mechanic Man asked me if Sprouts "gave" those little cloth bags and I said no you have to buy them, but we are contributing to help save the earth. He gave me that look. But I feel good about it and feel that I am on my way to helping to do my part in going green. Well, maybe not green I might be at a Sea foam green level at this point, but in the green family none the less. And by the way at least the bag won't rip on me on the way out to the car like the plastic ones do. Oh, how I despise that!!
