Yesterday was pretty rough for me. I actually wanted to watch the DVD of my mom's funeral which I had not seen and the DVD with the slide show of pictures that was played at her funeral. All of which was very emotional for me, but I still wanted to watch it. I am thankful that I have those memories to watch.
But today was a new day and I had invited my dad over for an Easter lunch, before he got here though Mechanic Man decided to assist the boys in organizing their room again. This is always a fun task you never know what you might find, so far when we have done this I have found a pancake and $45. So let's play a little game called "Name that object"......

Can you guess what they are? What if we take a different angle?

Well, since I actually held them and took a good look I can give you my educated guess, but we are still not 100% sure. I think that they are carrots that have dried up. Don't even ask me why they have carrots in their room because I don't know.
While we were eating breakfast we looked out into our backyard and see our little bunny coming to visit us for Easter. He hangs around and comes into the backyard all the time to eat grass and so we thought it was pretty cool to see him before Easter. Below is not a good picture of him because I couldn't get close enough, he doesn't like people. But if you look at the corner of the gravel box you will see his ears and little head poking out....

So Papa came over and we had lunch which was delicious if I do say so myself :) Papa was glad for anything that didn't come out of a box. Below is a picture of Papa giving J#3 a ride on J#2's bike.....

Here is dad in his new car a Saturn View. Mom had plans on trading in her car and getting a view and dad wanted to go forth with those plans. Plus he has been having problems with his hip (which I am trying to get him to go get checked out) and was having problems getting in and out of the little car. He did it yesterday, how fitting on my mom's one year anniversary of her death. He picked out a color he knew she would have liked. He said that he had a little trouble thinking about letting my mom's little car go, but he knew that it was O.K.

The color is called Sea Mist Green, in the pictures it looks blue because in the shade or dark which it was when I took the picture, but in the sun it looks green. Mom would have enjoyed it!
While my dad was here we all went over to Restland and visited my mom's grave, then went over to the office to ask about when they were going to get with the funeral home in Terrell to have my mom moved. I don't think I have mentioned that on here before that my dad back in Sept. found out that the same company that owns Restland owns a funeral home in Terrell so we made the decision to go ahead and have my mom moved to the cemetery in Terrell so that she could be closer to my dad. So the paperwork was done in Sept. and they got the permit to do it a month ago now they are waiting on Restland. We stopped by and spoke to a funeral director and he assured us that he would see that it got into the right hands. We will see....I am ready for her to be in her final resting place.
This is just a cute picture that I wanted to throw in. J#3 loves playing the guitar and notice that the strap is over his shoulder. He won't play with it until you put the strap on.

Have a Happy Easter!!!!

I saw that thing and was like "what in the world is that?" It looks nasty, if I do say so myself. Love your Dad's new ride, suits him!
