Catch Up Day

On this rainy day today we are staying in and catching up on laundry and all the chore stuff. I am also catching up my blog. Saturday we went to Firewheel Mall's Kidsfest, we missed the easter egg hunt which I was fine with. There is just something about letting my two boys out in a field with about a hundred other kids and being able to watch them both and get them back to me just stresses me out. But they had fun anyways here are some pics...
It was actually a little chilly with the wind, of course, we were not dressed for it since it was supposed to be in the upper 70's. Here are J#2 and J#1 by the fountain at the mall.

Here is J#1 getting out some of that pent up energy and as you can see nothing is bothering that ugly toe now!
Here are the J-Boys posing.
Here is J#1 playing the Wii that they had out there.

Here is J#2 trying to play Guitar Hero, a little to difficult for his coordination. J#1 did well though. Here they are looking at the Weiner Mobile then they each got a Weiner Whistle, thank you to the Weiner people for the great noise that I heard all the home with those things :)

The Garland Police were out there letting the kids look inside a police car and talk with the police man. I told the J-Boys not to get to comfortable in the front or the back of a police car. My brother and sister-in-law are police officers and I am glad that there are people that do that and all and we need good people to do that, just not my babies. Even though now J#2 said that for his birthday party he wants a police car and fire truck there, which does sound kind of cool.

Yesterday, I took the J-Boys to their dentist appt. for a cleaning. All checked out good no cavities. J#1 still has all his baby teeth and all of his friends have started losing or has lost all their front teeth. They looked at them on the x-ray and you see them in their, but the roots of the baby teeth are still long so they said it could be another 6 months maybe about the time he turns 7 he will lose his teeth. The funny thing is that J#2's x-rays looked like his brothers so they possibly could lose their teeth at the same time. I am thinking the Tooth Fairy is going to go broke over here. There was one funny thing that happened while we were there was that J#1 got his teeth cleaning first then the Hygentist said that he could not rinse his mouth or drink anything for 30 minutes then he went over to J#2 to clean his teeth while J#1 waited for the dentist to give him a look over. J #2 does not like to get his teeth brushed much less cleaned because he has this gag reflex when someone else brushes his teeth. So he got through there and the Hygentist got up and J#2 looked like he had all this spit in his mouth so I asked him if he needed the sucker again and he shook his no and a whole line of saliva came out and the Hygentist gave him the sucker again then went to check on J#1 who apparently didn't know that he could swallow and had a mouth full of saliva and his little bib thing was soaked with saliva. So the Hygentist cleaned him up and was laughing saying that he could have swallowed, but he didn't tell him that so he didn't. Well, the whole office got a good laugh at the drooling J-Boys and we will do it again in 6 months.
