What I did with my extra day......

I thought that I would get a lot accomplished today . We are having my Grandmother's birthday get together here tomorrow and I have laundry piled everywhere. So my intention was to get that all done and straighten my bedroom and clean my bathroom. Well, the day started pretty good I had the boys clean their room then all of the sudden I heard J#1 screaming, he came hobbling into the living room . I looked at his foot and it looked like this:the toe nail was turning purple and there was a small gash on the other toe. I finally got him to calm down enough to tell me what happened. He said that the door to his dress up cabinet fell on his foot. So he was in some pain and I got him settled on the couch with an ice pack and had to force some Tylenol down him because he never wants to take anything that might taste yucky. All the while the conversations went like this:

J#1 "It hurts, it hurts." (sob, wail)
Me "I know it does."
J#1 "I had plans today to walk around (sob, wail) now I can't!!"
Me " Plans?"
J#1 "If this would have happened to J#2, (sob, wail) he would be crying instead of me!"
Me "Well, it didn't."
J#1 "This has been a bad day (Sob, sob)
Me, "It is only 8:30, it will get better. Let's watch some cartoons"
J#1, "It hurts too much, (Wail) to watch T.V.!!
Me, "Do you have a fever? Maybe I need to take you to the doctor."

So we prayed for his foot and after about an hour it felt much better and he was hobbling around.
But that also took about an hour out of my morning. I did manage to get the majority of the laundry done I stopped counting after 7 loads!!!! I think I only have 3 more to go. Yes, I was that far behind. I will give you a post about my Grandmother's party tomorrow with pics.
