Customer Service

Those who know me know that I could get up on my soap box about this subject. There really is no customer service anymore, the old saying "the customer is always right" does not exist anymore. I don't know if it is a generation of uncaring people who are just doing their job to get a paycheck and could care less if they are doing their job correctly or with any tact, OR it is just a dog eat dog world out there and whoever can make the most $$ wins. But whatever it is it really chaps my hide to have to call someone and get something corrected and they do not have a clue what they are doing or you don't even get a live person!! Don't even get me started on that those automated things wear me out, and the ones that are voice activated are the worst!! This is usually the scenario my kids are quietly and happily sitting in front of the TV, J#3 is taking a nap and I hop on the phone to get something straightened out. As soon as the automation asks me a question one of my children either starts crying, screaming, or trying to ask me a question and all the automation hears is their voice not mine!! I am running through the house trying to find a quiet spot to get it to hear my answer and the kids are running after me hollerin' the whole time. You try to give them the "look" you try mouthing to them to "Shhh, be quiet" to no avail the automated voice keeps saying "Sorry, I can not understand your request." Help, give me a person.

BUT.....

This post is about the good customer service experience that I just had. I have decided to switch to Seventh Generation laundry soap. It is made with natural ingred. and I could get it cheaper in bulk from Amazon then the other natural soap I was using. I also got free shipping. So I thought this is great I placed my order it showed up on my front door. Then we opened it and two of the bottles leaked out and made a mess in the box, so I got on Amazon's website and typed a message to the customer care telling them what happened. I didn't even have to talk to a machine, and in two days another full box was sitting on my door step. Now that is customer service!!!!
