I don't really have a lot that has been going on. We just got back from a playgroup Valentine party. So of course the kids had a lot of fun getting cards and candy.
There were some random things that sometimes cross my mind, so I thought I would put them out there like:
Why is it that after your kids are potty trained, and I mean fully trained they stop flushing the toilet?
Why is it that when you say to your kids, "Would you like A or B for breakfast?" They always choose a C?
Why is it that when you ask your kids, Would you like syrup on your pancake, they say no then after you sit down to eat they say they want syrup.
Why is it they have a room to play in, but would rather drag their toys in the living room and play there?
Why is it that when you say, "come here" they hear "run away as fast as you can"?
Why is it when you say "NO", they hear nothing?
ON the flip side:
Why is it that a flower weed when handed to you by your child is the most beautiful flower in the world?
Why is it that after you have had the roughest day with them you look in on them while they are sleeping and they look like angels?
Why is it that your heart can turn to mush over words like, "I love you mommy or You are beautiful mommy"?
To quote a commercial: Why is it you didn't realize that one of the people you would fall in love with would be chubby and bald?
Why is it they have to grow up?
(Wiping tears) I love my boys, and all the things they do!!
