Road to Recovery and some painting....

Well, we have had a great day today. Less symptoms, more rest and more appetite. Thank you God!!! You never think of taking for granted having a good health until it seemed like the sickness was going on forever. I do thank God that this is something that was going to run its course then they would be healthy again. It made me think of the families that have to struggle with an incurable disease that there is no hope for a full recovery. Thank you, Thank You, Jesus for the health of my kiddos!!

While I was cleaning up "stuff" and trying to keep my head above water over here, I was able to get some contacts to come through with some products for the Buddy Bag Program that I have volunteered to help with. When you finally see something come through after weeks of calls it really gives you some energy to keep it up!

Here are a few pics of some of the other things we actually got accomplished through all of this...

Well, actually this first one is just a darn cute pic of J#3. There is just something about a naked baby only in a diaper riding his rockin' horse. How cute is he??? And feeling so much better, did I mention, Thank You Jesus for their health. I thought is was worth saying again :)
Here is a pic of our fish tank do you see what is different??? No, all the fish are still alive. Well almost all we have only lost 3, but I think gained about 10 babies so it all evens out right? Mechanic Man built a top for the tank so that we don't have to have a vice grip or some contraption to keep the middle from bowing out.
Maybe I will call him Woodworking Man.

We also started school with J#2. He was so excited and he is doing great!!
First day of Kindergarten.

I also decided with all the lack of sleep and not feeling like I can't get anything accomplished, why not paint!! Crazy I know, but there was something about rolling paint on the wall after the kids have gone to sleep that was somewhat therapeutic for me. I did a little here and there and finally got it finished this weekend. It is the same color that I did in the breakfast area because it is all open. I liked how it turned out.

That is the full catch up on what has been going on around here. So as long as the boys continue to get better I feel good about making our vacation plans. We are heading to Disney World, Fl. and then up to see that beautiful niece of mine in Va. Oh, and her parents too. Keep praying for great health all around :)
