A Daddy's Love....

Let me preface this by saying my dad is a manly man he loves sports and works his cows. All macho type of stuff, but ever since I was a little girl my dad would pretty much do anything for me. He would let me brush his hair and put barrettes in it. If I wanted something I usually got it. If my brother or mom wanted something from him they would have me ask him.

As I became an adult not much has changed with that and today was no exception. While I have been cooped up in the house only going out for necessities. I have done a lot of looking on the computer. Thanks to a comment on this blog they linked me up to some internet promo codes. I went on Hanes and found the All Over Comfort Bra which I ordered and yes, it is all over comfort (sorry to any male readers, but you really should tell your wives about this bra she will love you for it :) It has the stay put straps and support that you need. Let me tell you it is the most comfortable bra that I have worn and this information is valuable for any woman who has had that pinching, scratchy bra to deal with.

Anyways, back to my story my dad lives minutes away from an outlet mall and here in Texas this is Tax-Free Weekend. So I made a call to dad and asked him for a favor. I wanted him to go to the Hanes Outlet store and get me a couple of these bras. He started laughing and said, "Well I guess I could". I told him to call me when he got there and just tell a sales lady that your daughter wants to talk to her on the phone about a product. So that is what he did. He stayed in the front of the store while I talked to the sales lady and she got me what I wanted. Then I asked her if she would be so kind to take it to the check out counter so my dad wouldn't have to hold it in line. She did and he paid for it and was out the door. I talked to him afterward and he laughed about the whole thing he had already told some of his friends what he just did for his daughter so he isn't going to mind that I share the story here.
