A Trip to Papa's.........

The boys and I spent Thurs. and Fri. at Papa's house. Papa had a couple of doctor appointments that I was going to accompany him to so we went and spent the night there. More on that later. Anyways, here is a few pics of our fun time at Papa's with the cows...
Here are a few of the Mama's and their babies. I feel a little like Pioneer Woman
posting picture of cows...not that this blog is anywhere in the same league as her blog.
This is what J#3 did every time we went out there. He pointed at the cows and said, "moo-moos". This is about as close as he was willing to get to them.

"Hello, Missy!!"
The boys always enjoy swinging on the swing of the big oak tree.

Here is the greatest invention for the farmer, the gator. Not to mention the best fun for all the boys to steer while we are riding around the pasture trying not to hit a cow.

The boys had the best time hanging with Papa, and I am sure Papa did too. Now onto why he had two doctor's appt.'s He went in for a physical and to have his hip looked at because it was bothering him and he was starting to limp. The doctor referred him to a Ortho and also to a Urologist because he had an elevated PSA level in his blood. The Urologist said that he thought it was due to a "natural condition in men of his age" we won't go into exactly what, anyways they are going to check the level in 3 months and we are praying that it is the same or less otherwise they may have to do further testing. As for the hip, bottom line is a hip replacement. He is not going to do it right now, but he wants to wait for the beginning of the year when his work has a slow period then take off the 6 weeks to do it. It really doesn't bother him to the point that he is in pain all the time or even taking anything for it so he and the doctor are fine with him waiting. The only thing my dad said was he can't run anymore and I told him he better not get into an emergency situation like a bull charging or anything!!!!
