Mid-week we decided to take a break from Disney and check out the Holy Land Experience. It was really pretty cool. They had a replica of what the market place at Jerusalem would have looked like and the temple. A lot of singing specials, dramas and teachings throughout the day.

Here is a drama of Jesus' ministry. J#1 and J#2 were actually paying attention through this one, but when Jesus said let the little children come to me, they didn't want to. Jesus came up to J#1 and was talking about loving one another and obeying your parents. I wanted to say, "Preach it Jesus!!", but I kept quiet. J#1's eyes were huge when he was talking to him.

Here is a replica of the Garden Tomb.

They did have a kid's section where they could do crafts. Here J#1 and J#2 were learning how to weave blankets.

Here they are making a gospel bracelet.

There was a big fish that you could walk into the mouth of and see other fish and Jonah. It would have them talking about the story when you went in. Here is J#3 in the belly of the fish. It was air conditioned in there so we all spent some time in the belly of the fish.

While we were there a lion came and visited us. J#3 gave him a "five", he wasn't scared at all.

J#2 trying to see how strong he is.

That night we went to a Pirate Dinner Theater, the show was fun and they actually called J#1 to go up on the ship with a bunch of other kids and take the Pirate Oath. The kids loved the action and the food was good.

Posing in front of the ship.
To be continued.....
