Disney World Day#1

Let me just say it is the happiest place on earth. It makes you feel like a kid all over again. The humidity I could have done without, but we only had sporadic rain for a couple of days of our stay so you take what you get. I was so sad though that the hurricane hit my home state. I was watching updates and praying for my fellow Texans.

I have tons of pics and will probably have to split up my posts about our trip. The J-Boys had so much fun. J#2 and J#3 were not crazy about the characters on the first day. Then J#2 saw Mickey Mouse and he was hooked ever since. We got them an autograph book that we had the character's sign. Even J#3 was warming up to them by the end of the week. J#3 learned a few new words these past two weeks, "Mi-Ni" which is for Mickey, "Dude" thanks to Crush (Finding Nemo) and "Fry" which is for french fry which became a staple to our diet with all the eating out. I am so over the whole fast food thing. I don't want to see another fry for a long time. This is definitely the best time of year to go there. Most rides did not even have the Fast Pass Kiosks open because there was no need. I think the longest we stayed in a line was 15 min. Most of the time you could ride then go back around and ride again. Here are some pics.....

Magic Kingdom was decorated for Halloween. Mickey Pumpkins everywhere! Here we are at the entrance. That carrier came in handy for J#3!!
You can't go without a spin in the tea cups. You know you are older when you get a little sick on this ride!!
J#3 took a spin on the Merry-Go-Round
J#3 got to ride quite a few rides. This is "Small World".
Some more decorations.

Here they are with Buzz Lightyear. J#3 was not enthused!
The gang in front of Cinderella's Castle.

J#2 took this pic because he was scared of the characters. J#3 was not a happy camper either.

My baby was tuckered out. The carrier was great for that!

This was after we rode the Pirate of the Caribbean ride. Pretty much all the rides come out at a gift shop. Do you think they plan that?? :)
The mouse ears come in all shapes and forms now.

Here is the castle with all the fireworks. That was a spectacular show and thus ended our first day at Disney.
