Today Mechanic Man's family had a reunion on the lake. The kids had a lot of fun playing, then when we got home the J-Boys were apparently not as tired as we were because they wanted to ride their bikes on the driveway. J#2 told daddy that he didn't want his training wheels on it anymore he wanted to ride like J#1 does. So MM took them off and showed him what to do and ran beside him and wouldn't you know he picked it right up. I can't believe it *sniff* *sniff* my boy is getting so big, no training wheels. What next driving a car??? Oh, I can't even think about that. Here is a video of him...

Last night we went with some family to a little town close to us to watch some fireworks. They had a lot of bounce stuff for the kids..

Here is J#1 and his cousin racing.

And wouldn't you know it Elvis is alive and well and living in a small town right down the road from me. This guy looked pretty close to the real deal and he sang good too!! Mechanic Man's sister, who is a BIG Elvis fan was smitten :)

For a small town production their firework show was spectacular..

The boys had a great time watching them, except......

J#3 he did not like it at all. The minute they started he was crying and pretty much didn't stop until the ended. Here is Uncle G trying to talk to him and tell them it is O.K.
All in all our Fourth of July weekend was great, Mechanic Man and I are so tired the J-Boys could probably go another round :)

Way to go J#2! You rock!
oh look how big he is... I had to laugh at MM running to keep up!
Great blog! I have five boys and love to read blogs about other moms with boys! Drop by sometime.
Congrats to J#2 for no more training wheels!

My boys are ready for more too- but I'm super tired.
I wish we could bottle some of their energy- just a small portion to share!
