J#1 has been doing so well in school it really blows my mind. Even when I teach something new he picks it up right away. Since he has gotten older he can relate and implicate his bible memory verse to his life better. He is getting so big, seriously he is 7 when did that happen?
For J#2's school we learned about butterflies and I mailed off for the caterpillars. We have all had fun watching them change into beautiful butterflies. We are reminded how "God makes us New". J#2 is also doing well and everyday he says, "Mom I am learning a lot". He has fun looking back at his folder to see all the pages he has already done. When it comes to asking questions, J#2 has that in the bag. Usually the conversation can go on and on with one question after another and then he will start all over again. PLEASE HELP ME!! I try to answer those inquisitive questions, but come on after about 10 I am done in.
J#3 is into everything, and I do mean EVERYTHING. One day the boy got into a drawer and found some gum and had three pieces in his mouth before I caught him, then he found some lotion and poured that into his hand, then he scaled the kitchen cabinets and got a knife and last, but certainly not lease he went poop and reached his hand into the back of his diaper. That was all in one day people!! HELP!! I thought I could not get that boy into bed fast enough that night. I think the Lord gives you a renewed mind each day so you forget how your kids are at certain ages. I mean I remember at 2 years old my other two got into stuff, but you REALLY DON'T remember the intensity of it. Not to mention the boy has a permanent bump on his forehead at all times!
These three marks happened when he wanted to move the bar chair into the kitchen, I'm sure to get into something and it fell back on him. Three of the bars on the chair back landed directly on his head. He had the worse bruises and knots, the picture does not do it justice. Then those healed up and...
Then you get him in bed and look in on him and see this...
And last but not least....
I have, let's just say "shrinking pants". You know when you hit 30 things just start changing and after I had my miscarriage and gained a few pounds. Well, things expanded. I was bound and determined even though I HATE to exercise that I was not going to succumb to the widening waistline. I happened across some exercise videos at the library, which I didn't know they had. I saw one for belly dance fitness and I thought that might be fun and probably will target where I need it. I have now been belly dancing for about a month now. I am totally hooked it is fun and gives you a work out. I might have to get the outfit to go with it, wouldn't mechanic man like that! Plus, I have a big incentive because this summer we are going to the beach for vacation and I may not be wearing the bikini I wore in the pre-children days, but I won't be caught in a Mu-Mu either :)

Ok I think it would be a wise investment for you all to purchase a helmet for J#3. I'll help and pitch in if you need. OUCH.
