One Year Anniversary

One year ago today I was introduced to the world of blogging. I can't believe that I stayed up with it for a year. I knew that some of my friends had blogs, but I really thought of blogs more of a forum for someone who had thoughts on political or spiritual subjects not for a stay at home mom and her thoughts. It was my friend D who asked me if I had a blog and when I told her I didn't she said that I should and then told me about it. I looked on her blog and became hooked. I started my own just shy of the first anniversary of my mom's death and this blog was a way to voice my feelings and let friends of my mom's and our extended family to be able keep up with what was going on with me and my family. I really never dreamed that it would last a month much less a year.

I have been able to have pictures, videos and stories documented on here that I probably would never get around to scrapbooking or writing about. When I started having comments by ladies whom I didn't even know then my eyes were opened to the whole world of bloggers out there. I have found many moms out there just like me (all boys) and I have found some who share in the grief of losing someone close. I have formed a relationship of sorts that I would have never been able to otherwise.

It has been a great year and I hope there is many more.
