To My Second Born Son,

You are 5 today!! It has been 5 years since I looked into that chubby 8 lb. face and fell in love all over again. You were the one that showed me that my heart had so much love. That it was possible to have love for more than one child.

You are my big helper. You like helping me in the kitchen and helping daddy in the garage, talk about versatility! You are the more organized one. I actually have seen you organize your clothes drawer, on your own. You are my sensitive one, your heart is on your sleeve. You do have a concern for others, the others are just not always your brothers :) You pray for your family each night and these last couple of weeks it has brought tears to my eyes to hear you pray for the people in Liberia, Africa to have clean water. I pray your sensitive, caring and serving heart continues as you become a man.

You are the quietest one around others and usually like to observe your older brother doing something before you try it. It has been such a joy to see you growing and learning so much through these 5 years. I was able to teach you to read this year, you are doing so good in school.

My heart is so full, and I thank God for blessing me with you.
