Building Birdhouses....

We have been totally missing out on the free Kid's Workshop at Home Depot. Once a month they have one with different projects. While we were there we got the word that Lowe's does it twice a month. So essentially I could have my kid's do a free project three Saturday's out of the month. Sounds good to me!

Here is J#3 "helping" build. Everything was all and well until he wanted to bang other stuff with that hammer.

I helped J#1 because J#2 wanted daddy because he was a mechanic :)

I will say their birdhouse was a little bit more even around the edges. Hey, I never said I could do wood work.

Here is the finished project! They had a lot of fun and did I mention it was free!! Gotta love that word.

This is J#3 modeling the back of the birdhouse. It has a plexi-window in the back so when you hang it by the suction cups on the outside of the window you can see the bird nesting inside. Pretty neat. Now we need to coax a bird to live in one of them.
